93 Legacy Air Cleaner Housing

Featured Replies

Howdy,

Is the air cleaner housing..the box on the right fender..the same for the '93 Legacy Turbo as it is for the Non-turbo?

Thanks for the help!

On my 93 Wagon, it was on the left hand side (Passenger side) It was secured by a combination hex/phillips screw/bolt. I had to use hex, the phillips was stripped out...

Not sure on the turbo ??

Hope that this helps...

A note: For the sake of clarity in communications, directions in a vehicle are generally given from the operator's driiving position--thus the passenger side is the right side of the car.

Sorry, not intended to be smarta$$, just to clarify.

Duly noted. I meant the right side.. I must have been asleep when I posted the question..or it's a sign of advancing age..lol!

No, no, no, paulbellefeuille--you had it right (correct) to begin with!!!

Right (okay)?

Gads, this language of ours can be confusing though!

In any case, I believe the turbo and non-turbo housings are different.

oops, my bad... I calls it like I sees it... I was visualizing the air cleaner in my head and had it on the left... Not thinking that the right is generally the passenger side... Oh well... Thanks for clarifying...
