willworkforbeer Posted September 21, 2005 Share Posted September 21, 2005 Died. When car was bought about 3months ago it only did about 1/3rd of what it should have. Went to a parts house link that someone posted earlier (thank you-by the way). They list a L&R wiper transmission (pricey parts), i'm used to fords where all they have is a rod that goes from the motor to closest wiper & another that connects to the next wiper, what do i have to look out for??? But for parts check out the market place forum, I just got stuff from BlackBart and Andrewp724 who were parting out early 90's Legacys. Also don't forget the W/W switch and motor contacts when diagnosing problems. But if one is working, and the other not then prolly mechanical. stumpy Posted October 5, 2005 Share Posted October 5, 2005 I have a 91 Legacy parts car I'm wanting to strip down to get rid of and the wiper system is still in tact. Not sure about the L&R transmission bit but willing to take a look at it. Worked when it was driven home 8 months ago. Fried the tranny gettng it their but I was after the struts and motor.
