anything i can check without removeing some screws and bolts?

check for vacuume leaks, happens to me every once in a while, some of the big hoses, when they fall off the plastic intake tube will stall the motor real quick.

Did you fiddle with the air filter recently?

If so, look under the air intake tube just past the MAF and make sure all the little hoses are still attatched.

Ask me how I know.

With the extremely limited amount of info. My guess is Mass Air Flow sensor.

Probably the same way i know, oh man can that be frustrating if you gotta be somewhere soon and the car dosn't run.

Check the underside of the air cleaner assembly about halfway to the wheelwell, you should see a tube about 1.5 - 2 inches in diameter that needs to be reattached.
