Has anyone ever seen fender flares for early Brats?

Garner had some for his 79 Brat, you might want to browse through his picture gallery to see them.

i havnt seen them, but i think they would look pretty cool, ive seen them on some ea 81's and some gen 2 brats, but not gen 1. You could probably just get a roll of the fender flare stuff, then just put it on. they sell rolls of it in jc whittneys

I bought those off of him I want to find out how many people would be interested in a set if I made molds.

I already have a set of the generic roll type on my 79' wagon and they look fairly good but I would like to modify a mold of the brat flares to fit my wagon.

Its goin to take some money to get the molds made professionally but I'm looking into doing it myself, IF it comes down to having it done by a pro my idea is to get everyone interested to pool the cash together for the molds so the more the merrier! And hopefully before the itch to put them on my brat overtakes me!

i know exactly the guy to make them.i was going to have subaru 360 sedan fiberglass headlight rings remolded, he was going to do them $30 a set after the molds were made.the original molds were $300, but the more people who buy the less the mold cost, could even become even.the price per set also included a gel coat in black, white, or grey.pm me if you want his web site and email addy.

he is a pretty well known guy, i`ve seen his work a couple times.was thinking about having him fab up a hi-top roof for the 360 van:grin: .see what your local guy quotes, he could be cheaper.let me know,
