buttons for regulation of air blowing through heater

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have Subaru GL-10 from 89' and have problem with buttons which are changing blowing of the air to front or front window and floor. They simply don't work, so air is just blowing straight. Could someone please told me which system is that and what could be possibly wrong.

Thank you so much for help.

Kristian

P.S. Sorry for my english, but I'm student from Europe and still working on my grammar.

it's a vacuum actuated system, so ther'es a little vacuum hose going from the intake to a canister on the passenger side firewall under the hood. This hose comes unplugged all the time on my car....check it. also, mine doesn't seal right, so there isn't enough vacuum for it to work at idle, try pushing a button when at higher rpm's, like just before shifting.
