September 28, 200520 yr I was talking to Austin the other day about this, putting an LSD in an impreza, and it was concluded that the newer foresters all have lsd's(?) and that they would most likly fit in an impreza.... If i could find a wrecked newer forester.. and rip the diff out... that would be good, but i'm not going to go looking for one until i know if it'll fit or not thoughts?
September 28, 200520 yr Same platform. It will fit. It will do nothing for offroad. You need a LSD not a VLSD.
September 28, 200520 yr I'm running a WRX rear LSD in my '95 that has a 4.11 RS tranny. Basically, you can run any rear subaru EJ differential you want as long as you use the ring + pinion from that transmissions drive axle.
September 29, 200520 yr You could weld the rear diff.. you will just have to change your driving habits to accomodate for wide turns
