Ever Done the Black Bear Trail??? im very interested in the trail and wonder if a subies has done it?

Where is that one located?Sounds familiar.

Should be just outside Telluride Colorado.

 

I think you can see it from main street in Telluride.

yeah the one right next to telluride.

I've been trying to get down there to do Imogene all summer. I haven't done Black Bear, but a quick google turned up a good description.

I've done the Ouray side of Imogene, in an unlifted wagon. That's prolly not indicitive of the rest of route, though.

 

Some pretty intense country down there...

It gets rough in spots. You deffinatly need to be lifted to run it int a subaru, and don't run it unless there is at least two vehicles.
