A real working MBC this time!

Featured Replies

Went on ebay and found a GFB Manual Boost Controller for $40 shipped so I jumped. The last MBC I got was some home depot made deely with a spring and a ball bearing. It didnt work at all. I chucked it and installed the GFB today.

I bent the mounting bracket 90 degrees and used a self tapping screw to attatch the mount. The thing works great. It has a needle valve or something, not like the spring. My car was running 5psi since my intercooler went in. As soon as I put this MBC in I adjusted it to 7psi, and took a nice long drive to the gas station.

Then there I adjusted it to about 9psi and im more than satisfied. Now all i have to do is get my downpipe installed.

next week... TIRES!

Im sticking with the 13" alloys I have. I have to get some new lugs for them, and im thinking of having them polished... but yeah. No 5lug and no 15" rims for now.

And, probably the cheapest 205/50 or 195/50's i can find. If I can find any.
