JDM Headlights, same as North America?

Featured Replies

I'm looking to relace the badly scratched lenses on our MY05 Legacy. Ebay has some JDM (Japan Domestic market) lenses, but won't they have a different focal point setup for a right-hand drive car? I wouldn't want the light beams for focus to the left side of the road.

you might move your steering colum over to the other side OR you might have to adjust after install. ed

They have a differnt light patern then here. Also since i dont know about the Japanese highway system or speed limits, it may be possible that they have a shorter throw too.

They are not aproved by the DOT (fed govt). Some states are more strict on non aproved hardware then others are. They are also slowly changing the laws so that its no longer an equipment violation, but pts on your license.
