I have found the Haynes manuals reasonably helpful. They provide decent step-by-step procedures for most maintenance. You might consider buying a Chilton brand manual for your car as well...I think they're a little bit better.

Thank you verry much for your opinion.....waiting others too?

All the best....:drunk:

For my 1986 4Wd turbo wagon automatic , the :

Haynes manual was/is 80 % worthwhile , 20 % worthless

Chilton 60 % worthwhile , 40 % worthless

Try also :

http://www.ausubaru.com/main

There you find some scans from original subaru manuals ,

off course with the steering wheel on the wrong side ....

for newer subarus, chilton > haynes

for older subarus, chilton < haynes

also keep in mind the out of print book how to keep your subaru alive...find it on ebay, good luck winning it though.

I got mine for $2 + $5 shipping, but the guy had it listed as "How to keep your SubUru Alive" lol

(not like it's that hard to look @ the title of the book :-P)

Bella.. PM me for info on this book.

I have Chilton's and Haynes and at different times one will have good info that the other does not; also they have different photos, supplementary info and such, so it would be a good idea to have both.
