Brat + Topper For Offroad?

Featured Replies

Has anyone incoporated their topper into their wheeler on their Brats? I got thinking today that it might be cool to have a roof rack or something built onto the topper so that you wouldn't clutter the bed with spare parts and stuff. Anyone got pics of anything like this? Any ideas on what could be done with it?

would there really be enough strength to make it worth while?probly would have to put a metal frame under the cap, onto the body of the truck.

Not a bad idea, but I think that one would be better off building a rack and frame w/out a topper. I'm sure we've all seen trucks (especially work trucks) w/ a frame coming off the bed and sometimes going above the cab w/ a flat surface for a rack the whole way. They look cool and make it easy to carry tons of equipment.

That'd be cool too. But then it wouldn't be all subaru.:) That might not be a bad idea though as well. has anyone done anything like that as well?

Beautiful depiction! ;) I would expect that you could identify someone locally who would and could build something like that custom for you.

It would be sweet looking.

I think a brat with a lumber rack like that would look awesome!
