Hello, so i have my 97 legacy LSi, and a few things

im getting the throttle position sensor replaced next thursday the 11/17, but this saturday the 11/5 i noticed a grinding noise in the right side, then today a guy said it could be the bearing, the calibar* (i really have no clue what that is) when im going 0-25 is when the grinding noise happens, after that it stops. any suggestions? Thanks!

Could be a brake caliper, a disk wear indicator (do Subarus have those?), dirt stuck in the brakes, a bad wheel bearing, a starting-to-fail CV joint.

Take it to a self car was and really spray the helloutta the front brakes. If it goes away it was dirt and you fixed for $1.25, if it's still there someon'e gonna have to look.

the next time you drive the car pay attention when you go around a left hand turn, this loads the rf bearing a little more and the noise should be more noticeable,if not probally the brakes wore down to metal.

I dont know if this makes a difference but it even makes noises sometimes when i go in reverse? left hand turns, right hand turns it just grinds real bad under 25mph, and then nother after that.
i dont think you could go fast enough in reverse to hear a bearing, ill go with brakes.
