OK. Most of us know that a coupe windshield is taller than a wagon windshield so you can can't swap them, but coupes have a kewl weather strip that catches the water that the wipers throw and lets it channel up over the roof of the car (look at one and it will make sense).

 

I always wanted this on my wagon because when it's raining and my window is down slightly I get soaked.

 

SO.......

 

I pulled the side strips off a coupe and trimmed about a half inch off them and glued them in in place of the old wagon strips. Drove to Cananda and back in the rain and it was awesome. No more water on my side windows.

 

No one else may care at all. I thought it was kewl.

I will have to keep an eye out for a coupe at the junk yard.

Got any more of that coupe trim? Mine has zero left (but no leaks). I would love to buy some if you have spare or a JY source.
