making a nonturbo gl turbo

Featured Replies

I have a 1988 Subaru Gl 4wd Nonturbo, and would really like it to be. How hard is it to swap it with a turbo engine, and what would I Need to do it? Thanks to anyone who can help.

Same question...I have a 1985 2 door GL with the M.P.F.I. non turbo motor and I would love to swap it or add a turbo!!!

Read up on EJ swaps. I'm sure someone else will explain in greater detail why, but swapping a ea82T isn't very cost effective, and adding forced induction to an N/A ea82 is just a bad idea all around.

the ej swap makes more power and does it without a turbo, in fact you can reliably turbo an ej22 to about 5psi for more fun.

ea82t's are ticking time bombs.
