idosubaru Posted December 10, 2005 Share Posted December 10, 2005 definitely replace it. that's alot of work to install an old bearing. i recall someone on hear not replacing something and it failing within a year...i think it was a throwout bearing but i can't remember exactly. Subarian Posted December 10, 2005 Share Posted December 10, 2005 Here's a really easy way. Fill the hole with grease, and use a drift or a dowel that fits tight. Hammer the drift, and the grease will force the pilot bearing out. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
