December 16, 200520 yr ok i have 2 tailgatewagons. one is a driver it is in grate shap and runs and drives. leaks some oil and could use some tiding up but is in grate shape. no rust small dent in hood and front fender. also have car #2 has good trans and bad motor(no clue just told that when i bought it) anyway. has all the front sheet metal to match where firstcars dents are. intiror is in ok shape with good shifter boot consol(should be in first) lots of grate parts. and not relly any rust just hit in the back so un fixable even thought the tailgate still opens and closes. anyway im thinking of getting rid of them as i have an urg for a 360 or somthing like it..... what should i ask... $$$ i was thinking somewhere around 2k, if it were to be shipped i would take all good parts from car 2 and put them in car 1 for shipping... back of good car http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=2024&sort=1&cat=500&page=6 back of bad car http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=2770&sort=1&size=medium&cat=500&page=6 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=2768&sort=1&size=medium&cat=500&page=6 lots of pix of good car http://community.webshots.com/user/subyguy
December 16, 200520 yr oh man, i want them sooo bad. nuts, i would have traded you my 360 van for one:banghead: i have to check my funds, but i probly can`t come close enough to swing it. i probly could help you find a 360.
December 16, 200520 yr Author so that was you with the 360 van that you were trying to dump.. ahh nuts when i didnt see it in your sig i figured it was gone. id relly like a van. anyway im in no rush and this post is more of a feeling what the local (usmb) feling is on the subject more or less...
December 16, 200520 yr How many years has it been that I've asked you about any '73?? I don't know though,Andrew got one that's absolutely awsome for around what you're asking. When you're serious to sell please contact me.Thanks.
December 16, 200520 yr Author 2k is probably about right i think as andrews car was as sweet as any old gen get(just from pix) and i think he stole it. i figure that it should have brought 4-5 , if you look at the prices the old toyota, mazda,s datsons, in awsome shape from th same vintage are bringing 6+
December 16, 200520 yr Of course I didn't stuff the salesguy's back pocket for an early end to the auction Seriously, they didn't know what they had and if they'd let it go to the end...it wouldn't have been mine. tailgate, would you consider a trade--both your wagons for Jon's old 360 sedan? Pics are in his album but I can get you more. No commitments, just throwing that out there. Obviously we'd have to work out shipping. Edit: The total cost for mine was as follows: (this is just FYI) 2,599 car 461 airline tickets 120, about, for premium gas, lead additive, oil, tolls & food on the way home So mine was actually a little over 3k, but it's mint, had all the original paperwork, the 1973 WINDOW STICKER!, and the original owner's niece met me at the dealer and gave me the car's entire history.
December 16, 200520 yr i probly could locate some of the pics of the sedan.it IS a nice car. nice and original 2yr old resto. i don`t know if your looking for one to mod or drive?
December 16, 200520 yr Author relly just one to drive and restor. not much into destroying one of a kind cars like 360, goggo's, honda 600, or anything like that.
December 16, 200520 yr From the pics there it looks like you could fix the "bad" tailgate wagon with a quick trip to the bodyshop. Given the rareness of the car... I'd get it fixed.
December 16, 200520 yr some pics here, i can find more if needed http://photobucket.com/albums/d118/ruppenduro/360van/
December 17, 200520 yr That's why I'm angling for a trade...the last 3 tailgate wagons in the States, possibly...all the same color and all in my driveway
