Does anyone know the difference in canopy fitting. I have a canopy that I just picked up for My 82', but it is too narrow at the back and the front sits up over the fun tops about half way. It has a Subaru part # and is the taller canopy. I think it is for a Gen 1 and would be willing to trade for any Gen 2 plus I would kick in a few $$ to make it a fair trade. Thanks for any help.

the Gen2 canopy is about 4" wider total, so 2" at either side...

 

it seems that people can barely give away Gen1 canopys... and Gen2's are a lot harder to find it seems....

thanks for the info. I am finding it difficult to get a good Gen 2 topper. It is a Gen 1. 2" short on each side at the tail gate.
