December 26, 200520 yr I got one for chrismas. Covers 1972-1979. How good are they and how rare are they?
December 26, 200520 yr Tales of the elusive "Clymans manual" are found all over the Inet. Some have been rumored to have been seen swimming in the Bay of E(vil)... but no such critter has ever been landed. Now it's cousin the Clymer Manual has been reported to have issues with properly identifying parts and procedures. Please excuse the sarcasm, I prefer the FSM
December 26, 200520 yr Author Ha, yes I spelt it wrong. I was in a less than alert state last night. So they have issues properly labeling parts. On par with a Childrens manual then?
December 26, 200520 yr Sir Loyal, thank you for not taking offense at my fun poking you are correct I would rate them slightly above the Underwear (Haynes) manual though.
December 26, 200520 yr clymer manual was the first subaru maunal I ever owned.... still have it. It is the same as yours 72-79
January 1, 200620 yr In 1986 or 87 they came out with a revised 72-84 clymers manual, basically the same one that you have with EA81 stuff added. I actually just picked one up at a used book store the other day. If anyone is interested in a 72-82 clymers, theres one of those still there going for ten bucks. let me know and I'll get it for em. -Mike
