December 28, 200520 yr I know I have a bad DOJ on my 89, and I hope to fix it this week. But I am also chasing a bad stumble. Is it possible that the vibration from the bad DOJ is causing a false signal from the knock sensor? I will find out soon I guess.
December 28, 200520 yr no eperinace with efi but when my one went it put a shake thru the whole car so i would think that shake would be tranfered to the engine aswell, although somewhat cussioned from engine mounts. so yes it could
December 28, 200520 yr DOJ.....? Honestly now, someone throw a Noob a freaking bone here! *Best Dr. Evil voice I could muster.
December 28, 200520 yr I asked the same question, a while back. DOJ = DOuble offset joint. The ends of the axle that all the movement occurs in. (holds the bearings)
December 28, 200520 yr Author The DOJ is the inner joint on the axles. Directly mounting to the tranny, and rear differential.
