xdeadhead Posted January 4, 2006 Share Posted January 4, 2006 hi all. new suby owner here. just got a 2005 OB 2.5 xt turbo wagon. my first new car ever and im 41 yrs old. was never a rich kid and im certainly not one now. love the turbo. hopefully with proper maintenance and a mobil one oil changes, it will give me plenty of reliable miles. anyway, onto my question. on my old vehicle which i traded in, i had a remote start setup which never gave me any problems. i couldnt get a straight answer from my dealer or service advisors as to whether or not it would cause a problem or void the new car warranty. so does anyone here use an aftermarket remote start on their suby? what are your experiences? which remote start do you use, if you dont use one, why not? of course it would be professionally installed. thanks for any replies and oh btw, i love this car.
