my 81 gl brat makes a beep!!! sound once in awhile what in the soob is that . it bothers me yall tell me what that is :-\

is it more like a belt squeel? maybe your serpentine belt is loose?

Just a possibility, but I used to have a VW Bug that started beeping the horn once in awhile, but only on a left turn. It turned out to be a shorted horn power wire in the steering column.

mine beeps all by itself from time to time. just another quirk i suppose.
