will a y-pipe from a ea82 bolt onto an ea81?

Ya it sure will.I have done this on an old hatch I used to own.

you will possibly need to "even up" the ea81 though. I had to add a spacer to one side becasue the other side had the spacer for the ASV.

 

it will depend on what year ea81 motor, and what ASV stuff it had on it...

its an 85'.. the ea82 pipe i have was lengthened at the head a little fir a lift..

 

i was worried about the width.. but if it'll bolt on then i can manage with the rest i'm sure
