subpilot
What is the function of the auxiliary air valve that sits on top of the thermostat housing on my 85 EA82T? Thanks in advance, Subpilot
subyrally
think of it like the idle air control valve. it lets your car idle when the throttle plate is closed. also, its what controls the idle speed when the car is warming up. the car will run without it, but you might have problems at a stop or when you make a cold start.
