Wheel options for 1996 Impreza L wagon?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

Just bought a 1996 Impreza L wagon and I need to replace the tires. The side walls read 185/70R14. Since I need to replace the tires, I thought I would get 15" wheels and try to get slightly wider tires but I'd like to know what the restrictions are if any.

TIA

In addition to the experienced help you may receive here, you can visit http://www.tirerack.com and investigate 'plus 1' sizing your wheels.

I've had all of the following on our 97 L. They will all mount up, but it will depend on the offset of your wheels. Go with a Soob wheel, you'll be fine.

Craigslist is an awesome place to find used wheels for your ride.

185/70/14

195/60/15

205/55/16

215/45/17

With the Outback struts added to my OBS,

205/70/15

225/60/16

27/8.50/14

Thanks for both of the replies.

How do I go about finding out the offset of the wheels I currently have?
