i just sold my wrangler and i need a new vehicle as soon as possible. I found an 85 brat near me that looks awsome. the problem is that im also planning on buying a small (17ft or smaller) fish/ski boat. will i be able to tow the boat with the brat, i dont care if i can only go 40mph, i just want to be able to make it up hills.

i`ll be honest with you, it won`t like it one bit, my brat does`nt like the hills just pulling its own weight. if you could somehow make the truck have hi-lo 2wd, it would work fine for 30-40mph.

The brats were not rated for any towing, its not just a matter with going up the hills, but stopping at the bottoms.

 

 

As much as it pains me to say this, if you plan on towing, that brat may not be such a good idea.

 

 

However, if you don't plan on towing, you'll love the brat, they're great little trucks.

a toyota pickup with a 22re would be exellent for the job

Where is this Brat? I am next door in Dixon. In Dixon there are two: mine and another one owned by the original owner (cherry!). I am the second owner of mine.
