Lawsonmh15
A couple days ago, I was replacing my Vac hoses and after I got back from napa and popped the hood, I could hear a low humming noise. After I grabbed the stethoscope and listened around, I confirmed that it was the coil pack. Could this be a sign of the CP going bad? A stealership tech told me it was all or nothing with the CP. i.e. Bad Miss ALL the time, or perfectly fine. It hasn't done it since then (that I have noticed) however, I want ALL your knowledge. TIA.
cookie
Just for security remove the plug wire terminals to see if they are making good contact. They should be clean and hsiny.

nipper
yes nipper PS if the car is running fine i wouldnt worry about it, but if you are the kind to worry about these things, and it would make you fell better, replace them. i havent removed a coil pack, but have you tried unbolting the pack and running the car, and see if the hum is still coming from there?
