January 24, 200620 yr 2004 Forester X model...Auto tranny At highway cruising speed of 70MPH I am tachin' @ 3000-3200rpm's..sems like car is not down shifting... anyone else know what thier car tachs at around 70MPH? Thanks!

January 25, 200620 yr I have a Yukon here, it's a company car. It's OK for free I guess, but I sure wouldn't buy one. I named it "Pukon".

January 26, 200620 yr those 4 extra cylinders tend to help make a differnce too. nipper They sure do--half the RPMs and a third the gas mileage (and one tenth the smileage)
