hi

i need a drive shaft bushing for my 1997 outback 2.5 ltr auto tranny. my driveshaft is clunking all over the place between 60-80 mph and getting worse dealer will only sell whole driveshaft assembly for 700+dollars. i found a supplier of bushings for suburu's but there were three different types with different inside diameters, and the dealer is no help with specs for the bushing. any help would be greatly appreciated

Go to the yellow pages and look up driveshaft shops. I had the universal replaced in my driveshaft for 125.00, so i am sure they have a way of fixing this.

May take a few phone calls, otherwise your going to have to go to a junkyard.
