Looking for a Switch

Featured Replies

I want to know what the foglight switch looks like for a EA82 dashboard. I want to install some aftermarket lights on my '86, but I don't know where the switch goes or looks like.

I'm not sure what the factory switch looks like, but there are a couple of blanks below the guage cluster. I used a rocker switch in one of those. Access is really easy.

See, that's what I was initially going to do, but then I thought that using the factory switch would be cooler.

I believe this one is out of an XT - I am going to to try and put it in my EA82. Other than that you could use a rear fog light switch that goes into the angled buttons with the rear demister. I could not find one though

Yup, that one's out of an XT6. Looks just like mine :D

I believe that the fog light button goes on the left side of teh steering column in the little blank over there (under the idiot lights)

I once test drove an RX which had fog AND driving lights... maybe factory... they sure looked stock.... had one switch there in the blank and then another one turned sideways slightly to the right of that.

But yes that looks like the right switch.
