getting the lift

Featured Replies

I finally have the money saved up and I am going to buy a PK Davis Lift. Here is the question? Which one do I get? I have an 83 gl wagon and I want 27" tires. So I am thinking I want to go with 3"/4" lift what do you guys think?

anyone have any comments or recommendations?

I like the 4/3 lift. First off, you do have a 4SPD dual range transmission, right?

Alright, good: I put 27"s on my EA81 w/a 4/3 lift and had to trim the front fenders infront and behind the wheel a little bit so if you want 27's and not much trimming, go with 4" in the front.

just wal mart specials.i will definitely get a more aggressive tire when i do not use her as a daily driver though.these are just not good enough for me.but i use them mostly on the highway anyhow ,soo.

do it man, 4/3 looks great IMO, not that i dont like the rake, i think its neat. but that extra inch up front is nice. 27's should fit pretty easy, i guess the ea81 fenderwells are a lil smaller than ea82's. but i run 28's, and no to much trimming at all done to mine. thats with a 4/4 lift. go for it man, talk to ya on yahoo somtime.
