March 22, 200620 yr Just thought I would try posting a pic, this is the one I bought off of craigslist with a locked up engine, that is getting a 100k mile ea81 put into it. Found some H alloys (also on craigslist) for it, and am going to use the alloys for summer driving, and am going to try to clean up the rusty wagon wheels to use with winter tires. total investment so far with car, engine, and wheels: $420 Sorry if I am being annoying, by posting with nothing really to say, I am just happy about having a subaru!

March 22, 200620 yr Author Well actually, that other one isnt mine, the pic was sent to me before I bought it. Nice thing is since the ea81 engine I bought was very complete, I will have alot of spare parts that are good off of the blown ea82. Hopefully I wont have to make too many trips to the junkyards.

March 22, 200620 yr the ea81 was $400 or $600 but it ran. i am really in NY, but i have shipped a few soobs over from your side of the country. rust is a killer over here, so thats my only choice for a clean soob.
