idosubaru Posted April 2, 2006 Share Posted April 2, 2006 should all swap over. you will have to take the power steering and the lines from the pump down to the rack from the 2.5 to put onto the 2.2. aside from that you can use either the 2.2 or 2.5 stuff. lmdew Posted April 2, 2006 Share Posted April 2, 2006 You can pull the lines and pressure fitting from a 95 PS and put the right onto the 98. mechdoug Posted April 2, 2006 Author Share Posted April 2, 2006 I have all the parts from the 97 2.5 car. The 98 2.2 engine will not come with a/c compressor,alternator,steering pump. Unless I spend an extra $200 to keep these with the 2.2 engine.It will have the exhaust manifold Y-pipe with it. Both are Manual Trans.
