When I said that I've had my turbo wagon since summer and haven't had time to truely look it over I wasn't kidding.

 

Looked at the valve cover on the driver's side and there were these two stickers from ATK.Looks like I've got a reman engine in my '87 turbo wagon...the rustfree one from the southwest.

 

My car runs very strong and the engine seems like it's got about 30k on it tops.Car had 145K.I never did a Carfax report.I'm wondering if that would show in one of those reports.

ATK is what places like pepboys and autozone use

 

from what i know and from experiences working for both those companies...they paid about $2500 for that motor, probably even more to have it installed.

 

places like that usually dyno test everything so you might have lucked out.
