I am looking for information on converting an SVX to a 5speed. I know at least one person on the board has done it, and there even might be a few sites out there.

Yes I did an install for Greenmarine on the SVX board.

 

He bought the tranny and kit from Brian in Washington at i think Small car. Then he brought his car to me and Jason porter came up to help with a few others and did the wiring on the inside while i did the removal and install.

 

Also Huck from the SVX board Did the first home grown install using an older legacy tran or Impreza tranny and Cable clutch.

go to http://www.subaru-svx.net and look for more info. Right now iam in the middle of the swap. People on the SVX bord are starting to say stay away from small car performance, some bad experiances.
