idosubaru Posted April 14, 2006 Share Posted April 14, 2006 171k km or miles? km probably. for issues you shouldn't have too many, the EJ series motors are great and i'd guess yours is a 2.2 or possible a 2.0 or 1.8? either way, great motors. at that mileage i'd throw new timing belts, water pump, thermostat and oil pump seals at it since who knows how old they are, unless you know they've been replaced recently. i'd also change the oil, transmission and differential fluids. drain and refill coolant. suby do Posted April 15, 2006 Author Share Posted April 15, 2006 yep it's KMs If thats all then I'll be happy I have a 91 lierty thats done 290K Kms and replaced all the said items but has a very small leak from No. 2 the commpresion is about 80lbs plus a little bit of exuaust gasses coming into coolant so gotta replace head gasket hope thats all it is.
