Coilover swap Honda-> loyale

Featured Replies

hey

I have heard of a coil spring swap from a honda to loyale , what years and model? Also I found coulover adjusters (rugged appearance) that fits inside spring center for a honda civic (89-91). Would these fit inside a loyale coilover?

Those look like the generic aftermarket 'wrx' coilovers I have on my wagon.

If you can find out spring diameter and length, I can give you more info on if they will fit or not.

I got 3.25-3.5 inches width x 10mm (spring) x 7.25-7.5inches (length). Can go way way up. This loyale is the saggiest! (2wd) I bet 3inches up would LEVEL the car.:-\

I have tried emailing the sellers of these things but they never get back to me. I want to try coilover sleeves again, before I had some TOM racing ones(yeah, I dont know either) but they were 400 and 500lb. way too stiff for me. I want some around 250.

those honda ones are wicked cheap even with the outrageous shipping cost! you have to wonder at the quality for stuff that cheap.

are you talking front or rear? i dont think im on the same page....

Rear loyale 2wd. The 4wd even with bad springs (rare but happens) still "gyro'd" up to a decent height. The 2wd is hopeless once it goes beyond the point of height I am trying to keep.My Loyale has plumbers rump roast. :lol: My toolbox in the trunk isn't even heavy and it is killing this little minded subaru setup. The springs for the ride are great, I just want to pick it up. To act as a spacer like the stuff I found, it wouldn't need strength. The rubber bushings are weaker and still right where they were installed since new doing same thing, those sleeves would be under those rubber donuts, further preventing any break.

If your just looking for a boost in the rump roast, hit the yards and find some stock accord front springs.. A search here will yield the appropriate model and years.

i do beleave these will fit. but your car will ride like a dump truck when they are in. the spring rate on these are like 450lbs front and 350lbs rear. way to stiff.

Thats what mine are. 450 front - 350 rear. Ride isn't cadillacish, but with some decent (read: not old rump roast worn out 20 year old stockers) struts, its not too bad

I snagged a pair too, although I have "old rump roast worn out 20 year old stockers"
