I am trying to figure out when Subaru stopped using Sodium Azide in their airbags. I know they stopped around 2001 in Japan, but I can't find any figures about when they stopped in the US.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I have no idea, but when i google it, i gets lots of scary information about the stuff.

Exactly, as in, make sure it doesn't mix with water and that it explodes all the way when it discharges.
