valve springs... questions.

Featured Replies

Are turbo valve springs any stiffer than carbureted ones? I can get new ones from Shucks, and there's different weights... one of them is lighter weight than the other (brand) and there's also Manual and Automatic springs... and then of course I can grab a set of hardened springs from Ramengines for $45 a whole set.

Reccomendations?

If you're going to be running a custom cam get the springs from ram, without them you might have vavle float

I'm aware of valve float, and I was just interested in differences between springs.

Most likely, if I do decide to get better valves (most likely won't change cam) I will go with the Ram Engines ones.
