Are the differentials the samr for the loyale, the legacy and the SVX, or are there differences? I can get an SVX lsd, but if they are different then I won't be able to seap the innards for the correct ratio

i think the SVX final drive is a 3.54 and not be directly interchangeable with your EA series vehicles which will be 3.7 or 3.9.

If the case is the same, I want to swap the internals so that I can have a 3.9 lsd. It shouldn't be that difficult if the cases are the same.

SVX is a different beast - if you want the LSD you'll need to locate one from a Full Time 4WD 5 speed turbo - 88 or 89.
