How can I disable the beep when the ignition key is inserted please?

I haven't checked on my Subaru but on my old Colt, the beeper was just a small module plugged into a panel. All I did there was find the beeper and unplug it.

If the door is rigged like on my 96 Leg., just put a piece of ductape on the switch to keep the plunger in. You could also disable the door switch more permanently.
