Hey, I was wondering if anyone can help me fix this problem that no one can figure out. Here's the low down- it's a 99 outback wagon, with a 95 impreza motor swapped. Automatic trans, 145k, check engine light keeps coming on. When scanned the egr valve code is coming up. One of the times a friend looked at it for me, he said he cleaned the egr valve, there was a carbon build up, and cleared the check engine light. It was fine for a lil, came back on, and drives kinda rough now. Idles irradically(Not terrible, but not as smooth) drives sluggish(Up hill is a crawl unless u floor it then the rpms suddenly sky rocket and eventually switches gears) vibration on the highway (Had all tires re-balanced, and had rack alighned, did nothing). If anyone wants to gimme some ideas on what to look for, I'd appreciate it. Im also looking to sell this in a couple weeks if anyones interested. Thanks alot.

Pull the codes to help us out a bit. Unles there is the odd vacume hose not connected.
