October 31, 200322 yr yep, after spending many hours of cleaning and resealing, my motor is almost ready to go back into my car http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo62/AUT_2602 http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo62/AUT_2603 http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo62/AUT_2605 and I'm prolly gonna end up toppin it off with these eventually:D http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo62/AUT_2604 so, what y'all think? Pretty pimp eh?
October 31, 200322 yr looks nice as hell, but theres paint in your intake ports. are your valves blue too
October 31, 200322 yr Author don't worry, its gonna get cleaned out before I put my intake on. No my valves aren't blue but if ya look close enough, you'll see the overspray on the valve springs. Now I can tell all the little ricers that "I have hi performace blue racing valve springs":D
November 1, 200322 yr hey, boob- did that intake manifold come with this engine? if not, does it line right up, i was told the heads would have to be shaved considerably if they were not the heads made for the dual carb set up. what's the skinny?
November 1, 200322 yr Author that manifold is for an EA71. I'v test fitted it by setting it on the top of my motor. Now all I have to do is give Andrew some money for it and then rebuild the carbs and a little paint and *POOF* dual carbs!!
November 1, 200322 yr oh. i was told the heads and cam were different and it would take some doing to get it bolted on. do you know the story behind your manifold, like what kind of car it came out of?
November 2, 200322 yr Author I know that they're off of an EA71 equiped car from Japan. I was told that they came on a JDM front cut from a Subaru. Thats basically all I know cause Hondasucks bought them from a guy on the old board who he hasn't heard from for awhile now.
November 2, 200322 yr Subarus are definatly like lego blocks, just snap together what you need and it all works.
