November 1, 200322 yr I'm pretty sure that's a high side A/C hose going into the power steering reservoir on my '84. If so, what's the logic with that?
November 1, 200322 yr definately not - no way, no how. I think your confused - take another look. The power steering on the EA81 has no seperate resevior - it's part of the pump unit. GD
November 2, 200322 yr Author Yeah, that's what I was writing about ... the reservoir on the pump unit.
November 2, 200322 yr There should not be any AC hoses going into the PS unit - that would be bad. GD
November 2, 200322 yr Yep - the EA81T's do use an EA82 style PS pump. Often wondered if I could mount that style to a regular EA81. I might try it sometime on my wagon. GD
November 2, 200322 yr i have mounted the ea82 pump to an ea81 motor. i have also put an ea82 motor ina glf, and swapped some lines from an ea82 to adapt it to the glf rack yes, it can be done i noticed the ea81t has the ea82 airbox, and the battery and coilonthe opposite side,(as in ea82 body, and what i did to my ea82 install on tashwagon)
