needing a new gas tank, but the store can not tell me the difference between the FI and Carb (the carbed tank is much cheaper then the FI tank)...the loyale is still carbed with plans for the FI conversion...if I am not mistaken, the carbed fuel tank is just fine for the FI conversion, but I am not sure???

Works fine for me - and many others on here. You'll probably need adaptors to step the return line and pump feed lines to the correct sizes. Not a big deal.

There is no difference in the tanks for any EA82 wagon/sedan/coupe. I had to replace the gastank in my RX since the junkyard had punched a hole in it, and I used one from a carb'd wagon. Had no issues.
