According to BYB instructions, I must remove my engine stabilizer to install the front end lift on my 1982 BRAT. Sometimes I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I can't seem to find it. Location? Pix? Thanks

i just extended mine, i kinda like that extra support.

but perhaps they mean the "pitch stopper" ?

should connect to a bracket on your engine and your firewall, or if it's the forward one, your engine and your radiator support, if I'm remembering correctly which I might not be

Yeah pitch stopper, engine stabalizer bar... same thing.

 

Its a bar that runs from just under the spare tire area, and bolts to the engine. You gotta remove it, but he gives you an extension so it still used.
