My suby is an EA82 T, Auto. When load is put and the turbo engaged there is hesitation. Not alot but enough to notice the power to be like increase and flat and increase and flat.ect.

 

Is it my wastegate or an F.I. problem or tranny. I'm thinking wastegate but would appreciate opinions.

Most likely detonation. Make sure you are running Premium fuel, and check your timing.

 

Could also be dirty injectors.

to check ur waste gate disco the pressure line to the gate, and blow air through it with a blower and see if the linkige to the gate moves, it should move quite a bit if it dose'nt, than its probably bad. it could be a lot of things but start with that.

also make sure the clamps between the turbo and the throttle body are good and tight.. leakage can cause quite a bit of stumbling
