alright, so im driving home from a camping trip today. it was probably 40 miles on a windy, dirty road (awesome for the 'ru). but it may have been rough on the car. on the way home, the car was making a ticking noise that was only happening at 20-25mph and on straightaways out of the drivers side front. im fairly, if not 100% sure that it is not the CV joint because the boot is solid and the noise was only happening on straightaways. then, i was treated to a brief howling like noise from the right rear at the same speed. both of these stopped when i got down out of the mountains. also, my brakes seem to need some pumping to engage properly. any ideas?

Tighten all your axle nuts and check for play in your wheel bearings (with the hand brake off)
