Hi Everyone,

 

We have a 1991 Legacy 4wd Wagon and have noticed a pretty bad vinration in 1st gear from a standstill. Definately feels like something is way out of balance, almost like a driveshaft or something. Once the the vehicle gets up to speed the vibration is not noticeable.

 

Ideas?

Well you do have a driveshaft and 4 universal joints. Inspect the carrier bearing and the middle uni joints for play.
