The dimmer wheel that dims the digi speedo etc is acting up once in a while.

 

It still dims but then it constantly flickers up to full on. Just curious if anyone has experience fixing this.

It's a rheostat, and it needs to be cleaned. You can take it out and try, but usually I just work them back and forth rapidly a few times to knock the carbon off the contacts.

good to know.. the QD Electronics cleaner used for the MAF sensor cleaning would be an ideal solution for this problem, no pun intended.

 

I had thought as much, but never got around to actually cleaning mine
