ericem Posted October 30, 2006 Share Posted October 30, 2006 OK, now now now, my vents bang while im driving, grr, they change, but it makes a loud banging noise, im sure its the heat vents, because on vent or ac or bilev, no noise, only in heat, or heat/def, then i hit the heater core, and it sometimes goes away, and then comes back after i hit a bump, why? but it not taping, its LOUD, like bang bang bang, in a soft bang. ericem Posted November 17, 2006 Author Share Posted November 17, 2006 You know what i have a funny feeling its something else, i only hear a banging noise when im driving, with the heat or heat def button on, but i can feel a knocking in the floor! i dont think those door vents are that loud! what else could it be? i remember when i had to drain the fluid for the rad, i refilled it with the old fluid, but i think i have have contaminated it, can this clog something? possibly some motor oil, nitro fuel, and or tranny fluid, lol, because when i filled the rad i used a becker, the thing with the tube, i rinsed it out with hot water, but i think i may gotten whatever i poored through it in the rad, the car doesnt overheat, the heat is REALLY hot, just the dam banging noise, and i can feel it through the floor, and its really loud, but its not a steady bang its like a come and go bang while im driving, but it usually stops when i stop. These are typical symptons of these parts being worn. nipper well, ill check them, but i know the front left cv has a broken boot, a tiny tiny tiny rip, but ill change it before it snows, and while im at it, ill do all 4 rotors, and the front pads, and bleed the brakes.
